Music Industry Bullshit
Just found out one of my favorite regular places to play has been forced to stop having live music. ASCAP is saying pay me, stop, or be sued. They’re forcing small coffee shops & cafes all over the country from allowing local/unsigned acts from playing, hundreds just this year. They say they’re protecting musicians but they’re just making it difficult for up & coming artist. Just a bunch of fancy lawyers bullying small businesses.
